Relocation and Transition Services
As both a professional organizer and Relocation and Transition Specialist, I help people gain control and remove stress from making the decision to either downsize or age in place.- I will assess your unique needs and create a plan to suit your time framework and your finances.
- I can research appropriate retirement residences and accompany you in viewing them. I can meet with family members to discuss your plans and involve them in the process, if you so require, or desire their assistance.
- I can provide a team of support people including handymen, movers, storage space suppliers, and/or make referrals of real estate agents with specialized skills to work in the senior market if required.
- I can help you get your home ready for sale by helping you sort through your possessions and helping you to decide what you really need and want to take with you, and what will fit in to your downsized residence.
- I can help you dispose of possessions that you will no longer require whether it be arranging for family members to receive them, or arranging for items to be sold or donated.
- I can help you choose furniture for your new residence if your current furniture does not fit.
- I can help you pack and unpack and settle in at the other end, and handle all the details involved with a move like changing your address, notifying utilities, doctors, dentists and other important people in your life.
